We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in English to teach and inspire students in our [Secondary/Higher Secondary] section. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, a deep understanding of English literature, and the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching:
Conducting English classes for [Class/Grade Level] students, focusing on literature, language skills, and grammar.
Developing and implementing lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
Student Engagement:
Creating a positive and interactive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
Providing constructive feedback and support to enhance students’ language and literary skills.
Curriculum Development:
Contributing to the development and improvement of the English curriculum.
Incorporating innovative teaching methods and materials to enhance the learning experience.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Designing and administering assessments to evaluate students’ understanding and progress.
Providing timely and constructive feedback on assignments and examinations.
Extracurricular Activities:
Participating in and organizing literary and language-related extracurricular activities, such as debates, writing competitions, and literary events.
Parent-Teacher Communication:
Communicating regularly with parents to discuss student progress, challenges, and achievements.
Attending parent-teacher meetings as required.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in English or a related field with a B.Ed. qualification.
Prior teaching experience in [Secondary/Higher Secondary] classes.
Deep knowledge of English literature, language, and grammar.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
